Poly Fibre - Surface Additive Suitable for new build arenas and as a top up for existing sand based arenas. Available in grey or white bales this chopped synthetic fibre will improve the footing of your arena by creating a root type structure within the sand to help the horse work on top of the surface rather than in it.

The fibres also help to maintain the hydration level of a surface by trapping moisture within the sand to keep it firm. Simply spread the fibres out over the top of the arena surface and harrow in with a spring tine harrow or a power tiller or rotivator, into the top 2 to 3 Inches of sand. Wet the surface down and compact with a roller.

 

For soft sands we recommend you add around 9 bales for a 40 x 20 and 12 Bales for 60 x 20. If you have a good quality firm silica sand the amount of Fibre can be reduces to 7 bales for 40 x 20 and 9 bales for 60 x 20. 

 

Waxed Rubber Fibre

This eco friendly lime and chalk based synthetic rubber has an excellent energy return. We blend our polyester hair fibre through the rubber then Add a 10% Pro Gel hot wax coating. This mix can be added to existing waxed surfaces to rejuvenate the top which often dries out over time.

 Waxed rubber fibre can also be used on the top of dry sand based surfaces both new build and existing, to give the top 2 inches a Wax coating. For new build arena surfaces we recommend a MINIMUM 4 inch sand base for waxed rubber fibre to be laid on.

 

Trainer Pro

Suitable for new build arenas and as a top up for existing sand based arenas. Trainer Pro additive is a specially blended mix of our other additives, engineered to give the ultimate footing performance for equestrian sports. We Re-shred our rubber fibre to 15 mm then add more structural hair fibre and a rubber chipping. Finally a blend of both grey and white poly fibre is tumbled through the whole mix.

The root type structure and cushioning the mix gives the sand will help the horse work on top of the surface rather than in it. The fibres maintain the hydration level of a surface by trapping moisture within the sand to keep it firm. With a quality silica sand as a base, this surface additive will give you the performance of waxed surface twice the price.

Simply spread the fibres out over the top of the arena surface and harrow in with a spring tine harrow or a power tiller or rotivator, into the top 2 to 3 Inches of sand. Wet the surface down and compact with a roller. We can add a special cold wax to your trainer pro additive at an additional charge, which helps keep the sand and fibres together, and act as a permanent dust suppressant which makes it ideal for indoor use. Minimum of 4 inches depth of silica sand required for installation.

Super Rubber Fibre

 This environmentally friendly synthetic, lime based rubber has excellent energy return and when blended with our fibres provides a suitable additive for top ups on just about any type of surface.

Added to the top of the sand it creates a sure footed performance and helps maintain moisture levels within the sand to keep it firm.

Super Rubber Fibre can also be laid as a complete surface at around 6” deep without the need for a sand base.

The most cost effective all in one surface available.
